Exercise to Lose Weight
In my opinion, Exercise is one of the most effective ways to lose weight and keep it off. Your exercise routine does not need to be difficult in order to work, though. Even exercising three times per week can have significant results.
For example, I work out on an exercise bike three times per week for about 15 minutes per session. I peddle at a moderate pace – nothing too difficult, but I do sweat a little. The calories that I burn off during these workouts equate to about two and a half pounds per year. That may not seem like much, but by doing this simple workout about three times each week for four years, I now weigh 10 pounds less than if I had not exercised!
Exercise can help you achieve your weight loss goals. The key is being consistent. Some people enjoy running in the park, riding an exercise bike in their living room, playing softball with friends, or lifting weights at a gym. Any of these activities are great ways to exercise. The key is to do it regularly and not give up!
